Every blind is carefully designed with both style and function in mind.

Our vertical blackout blinds work well for both large and small windows, and they can be ordered any time at affordable prices. We offer a full colour chart with a wide range of premium shades to choose from. You can select either light-filtering fabrics or blackout fabrics depending on what you prefer, and you will find these blinds provide excellent value for every type of home.

Our blinds are made to fit your own measurements for both width and drop. They are built to last a long time, making them a smart option for all homes as well as commercial spaces. They are a great choice for wide windows, doors, conservatories, and more. They are simple to use, and each set comes with a child safety clip for extra peace of mind. Standard top brackets are included to make fitting easier. Full instructions are not supplied, but the blinds are straightforward to install.

This product is a complete blind, meaning it includes both the rail and the slats. The slats are 89mm wide and are made from 100% polyester.

Your order will arrive in two parts, one package containing the slats and the other containing the rail and brackets. Deliveries are handled by our own courier service, which may sometimes send each part separately, one after the other.

Each blind comes with standard top fix brackets. If you prefer, you can request face fix brackets, which are best fitted inside the window frame or outside the window recess.

Tools you will need for measuring your vertical blinds include:

  • A steel tape measure
  • A pencil to mark your notes
  • A worksheet to write down your sizes
  • A ladder if you need to reach tall windows

Tips to get accurate measurements:

  • Always keep height and width measurements separate. Mixing them up can result in blinds that do not fit.
  • If you are measuring more than one window, do not assume they are the same size. Take measurements for each one separately, as even small differences can affect how the blinds fit.

Outside Recess:

Measure the exact area where you would like the blind to overlap. To reduce light coming through, allow at least 70mm overlap at the top and 50mm on each side. The bottom overlap is up to you, but do keep things like radiators in mind. Always use a metal tape measure, as fabric tape measures may bend or stretch and give you the wrong size.

Inside Recess:

Take this measurement if you want the blind to sit inside the window recess. Measure the full width and drop of the recess (the size of the opening itself). We will make the required allowances so the blind fits properly. Measure at three different points across the width and drop, and record the smallest size. Do not make any deductions yourself, as we will adjust for the best fit. Again, use a metal tape measure to avoid inaccurate results.

Please check that you have all the items supplied with your vertical blind.

Extra tools and items you will need include:

  • Two top fix brackets
  • Two face fix brackets
  • One set of hangers
  • One Allan key
  • Two stabilising chains
  • One safety hook
  • Four wood screws
  • One weight
  • A pencil
  • Screws
  • A drill with the correct bits
  • A cross-head screwdriver
  • A metal tape measure

Face Fix:

Place the brackets about 5cm from each end where the headrail will be fitted. If you are provided with more than two brackets, space them evenly along the length of the blind. Make sure your fixings are right for the type of wall or surface you are attaching them to. To fit, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and then tighten the short screw at the front of the bracket to hold it firmly.

Top Fix:

Measure carefully and mark where the brackets should go, making sure to allow room for any obstacles like handles that stick out into the recess. Fix the brackets roughly 10cm from the ends of the headrail. If more than two brackets are included, space them evenly across the length of the rail. Again, check that your fixings are suitable for the surface. To fit, tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate it until it clicks securely in place. To remove the headrail, press the bracket at the release point.
