Vertical blackout blinds are an ideal choice for creating complete privacy within your home. We offer a wide variety of designs and styles, all made using premium blackout fabrics that are durable, strong, and versatile. This ensures that the blinds will last for many years while maintaining their quality. Each set of blinds is carefully made with attention to design and detail.
Our vertical blackout blinds are a perfect fit for both large and small windows, and they are available to order at any time. They are cost-effective and offer excellent value for money. A full colour chart is provided so you can choose from a wide selection of shades. Depending on your requirements, you can select between light-filtering fabrics or blackout materials. These blinds provide great value for both small homes and large properties.
Each blind is supplied in two separate parts: one containing the slats and the other containing the rail and brackets. Our own courier service handles delivery, which may occasionally arrive in two separate parcels.
Bracket type: Top fix brackets are supplied as standard. If you prefer, you can request face fix brackets, which are suitable for fitting within the window frame or outside the recess.

Tools you will need to measure vertical blinds:
Tips for accurate measuring:
Outside Recess
Measure the full area you would like the blind to cover. To reduce light coming in at the edges, we recommend allowing at least 70mm overlap at the top and 50mm on each side. The bottom overlap is your personal choice, though you should take into account anything that may block the blind, such as radiators. Always use a steel tape measure, as fabric ones can stretch or bend and give incorrect results.
Inside Recess
Choose this method if you would like the blind to sit neatly inside the window recess. Measure the total width and height of the recess (the complete opening) and we will make the correct deductions to guarantee a good fit. Take three measurements across the width and three for the drop, then use the smallest measurement each time. Do not make your own deductions, as we will do this for you. Again, always use a steel tape measure to ensure accuracy.
Please make sure you have the following items included with your vertical blind:
Additional equipment you will need during installation:
Face Fix
Position the brackets about 5cm from either end of where the headrail will be placed. If more than two brackets are supplied, space the extra ones evenly across the length of the blind. Make sure that the fixings you use are suitable for the type of wall or surface. Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, then rotate it into position. Finally, secure the headrail by tightening the small screw located at the front of the bracket.
Top Fix
Before fitting, measure the space carefully to make sure the blind clears any obstructions such as window handles. The brackets should be placed around 10cm from each end of the headrail to avoid hitting the handle. If more than two brackets are included, fit the extra ones evenly along the blind. Ensure the fixings are suitable for the surface. To install, tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket and rotate it until it clicks securely into place. To remove it, push the bracket at the marked point.
