Vertical blackout blinds are an ideal solution when you want full privacy in your home. They are available in a variety of styles and designs, all made with high-quality blackout fabric. The materials are strong, durable and versatile, making them a long-lasting choice. Each blind is carefully crafted to combine practicality with an attractive finish.
These blinds are a great fit for both large and small windows. They are always available to order and offer excellent value for money. You can choose from a wide range of colours using our colour chart. Depending on your needs, you may select either light-filtering fabrics or complete blackout fabrics. Whatever you decide, these blinds will prove to be a cost-effective option for homes of all sizes.
Each order is supplied in two separate packages – one containing the fabric slats and the other with the rail and brackets. Please note that deliveries may sometimes arrive in separate parts through our courier service.
The blinds come with top fix brackets as standard, but face fix brackets are available on request. Face fix brackets are especially useful when fitting blinds directly into window frames or outside of the recess.

Measure the exact area you would like the blind to cover. To reduce light coming through, the blind should overlap the recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm on both sides.
The overlap at the bottom is up to you, but remember to consider any obstructions, such as radiators. Always measure with a steel tape for accuracy.
This method is used when you want the blind to sit neatly inside the recess. Measure the full width and height of the recess. We will make the necessary deductions to ensure the blind fits perfectly.
Take measurements in three different places for both width and drop, and use the smallest figure. Do not make any deductions yourself – we will do that for you.
Again, always use a metal tape measure for accurate results.
Before fitting, make sure you have all of the following items supplied with your order:
Mark bracket positions about 5cm from each end of where the headrail will be fitted. If more than two brackets are included, fit the extra brackets at equal distances along the rail. Ensure that all fixings are suitable for the surface you are mounting onto.
Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it forward into position, and secure it by tightening the screw at the front of the bracket.
Mark bracket positions about 10cm from each end of the recess. This ensures the rail clears any window handles. If more than two brackets are included, space them evenly along the rail. Again, check that the fixings are appropriate for the surface.
Tilt the headrail into the bracket, rotate it until it clicks securely into place. To release the headrail, press the release point on the bracket.
