Tips for accurate measuring:
If you want the blind to sit outside the recess, measure the exact size of the area you want it to cover. To reduce light leakage, allow at least 70mm overlap at the top and 50mm on each side.
The overlap at the bottom is your choice, but check for objects such as radiators that may affect the length.
For blinds that fit inside the recess, measure the full width and drop of the space. Take three measurements across both width and height and use the smallest size.
Do not make any size deductions yourself – we will adjust to ensure a perfect fit.
Again, always use a steel tape measure for accuracy.
When fitting your vertical blind, ensure you have all the parts included:

Additional tools you will need:
Place the brackets around 5cm from each end of where the headrail will sit. If more than two brackets are included, space the extras evenly across the blind. Make sure your fixings are right for the type of wall or surface.
To fit, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket and rotate until secure. Tighten the small screw at the front of the bracket to lock it in place.
Check the space carefully and allow for obstacles like window handles that may project into the recess. Place the brackets around 10cm from each end of the headrail to allow clearance. If more brackets are provided, spread them evenly. Again, make sure the fixings suit the surface.
To fit, tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate until you hear a click. To remove the headrail later, press the release point on the bracket.
