Tips for Accurate Measuring:
Measure the exact size of the space you want the blind to cover. To reduce light coming in from the edges, it is best for the blind to extend at least 70mm above the window recess and 50mm on each side.
The amount of overlap at the bottom is up to you, but do consider any objects such as radiators that may be in the way.
Always use a metal tape measure as fabric or plastic ones can stretch or bend, which may give you incorrect results.
This measurement is used if you want the blind to sit neatly inside the window recess. Measure the full width and height of the recess (the opening itself), and adjustments will be made so that the blind fits properly.
Take three separate measurements across the width and height, and use the smallest figures.
Do not make any adjustments yourself, as we will ensure the right allowance is applied.
Again, always use a metal tape measure for the most accurate results.

Extra Items You May Need:
Position the brackets about 5cm from each end where the headrail will sit. If you have more than two brackets, space them evenly across the length of the blind. Always make sure your fixings are secure for the wall or surface you are attaching them to.
To fit, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and then tighten the small screw at the front to secure it.
When fitting inside the recess, measure and mark carefully to avoid obstructions such as window handles. Place the brackets around 10cm from each end of the headrail position to allow clearance. If more than two brackets are included, space them evenly across the blind’s length. Again, make sure fixings are suitable for the surface.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate until it clicks into place. To remove the headrail, press the bracket release point.
