Delivery and Parts

Your order will arrive in two separate packages – one containing the slats and the other containing the rail and brackets. Our courier service may deliver these in split shipments, so the parts could arrive at different times.

Each blind is supplied with top fix brackets as standard. However, if you would prefer face fix brackets (to fit inside the window frame or outside the recess), you can request them when placing your order.

To order correctly, simply measure the inside of your window recess (see full measuring instructions). Measure as precisely as possible, to the nearest millimetre. When completing your order, enter your exact measurements into the ‘special comments’ section at checkout. We will adjust the measurements by 1cm (industry standard) for the best fit and begin production immediately. Once your order is confirmed, you will also receive a fitting video via email to guide you through the process.

⚠️ Please note: As these blinds are made to measure, it is very important to provide the correct width and drop measurements. If measurements are entered incorrectly, the product cannot be returned under the stated terms and conditions.

Measuring Tools Required

  • A steel tape measure (not cloth, as it can stretch).
  • A pencil for marking and recording.
  • A worksheet to write down each measurement.
  • A ladder for tall windows, if required.

Tips for Accurate Measuring

  1. Do not confuse width and height measurements when recording, as this can result in blinds that do not fit.
  2. Measure every window individually. Do not assume that two windows are the same size, even if they appear similar. Small variations can make a big difference in how blinds fit.
  3. Always use a metal tape measure for accurate results.

Outside Recess

  • Measure the exact size of the area you want the blind to cover.
  • To reduce light leakage, the blind should overlap the recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm on each side.
  • The amount of overlap at the bottom is your choice, but remember to consider obstructions such as radiators.

Inside Recess

  • Measure the full width and height of the recess (the inner “hole” of the window).
  • Take three measurements for both the width and drop, then use the smallest figures.
  • Do not make deductions yourself, as these will be made during production to ensure a perfect fit.

Make sure you have the following items when fitting your vertical blinds:

Included fittings and tools you will need:

  • 2 top fix brackets
  • 2 face fix brackets
  • 1 hanger
  • 1 Allen key
  • 2 stabilising chains
  • 1 safety hook
  • 4 wood screws
  • Weights
  • A pencil
  • Screws
  • Drill with suitable bits
  • Crosshead screwdriver
  • Metal tape measure

Face Fix

  • Position the brackets around 5cm from each end of where the headrail will sit.
  • If more than two brackets are provided, install the extra ones at even distances across the blind for stability.
  • Ensure the fixings are appropriate for the wall or surface.
  • Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into position, and tighten the front screw to secure it.

Top Fix

  • Measure and mark the correct positions, allowing for any obstructions such as window handles.
  • Brackets should be fitted around 10cm from each end of the headrail to ensure clearance of handles.
  • As with face fixing, add extra brackets evenly across the blind if supplied.
  • Attach the headrail by tilting and hooking it into the bracket, then rotating it until it clicks into place.
  • To release, press the bracket at the release point.
