Tips for Accurate Measurements:
Outside Recess Measurement
To measure for an outside recess fit, check the exact area you want the blind to cover. To reduce light coming through, we suggest the blind extends at least 70mm above the window recess and 50mm on each side. The bottom overlap is up to you, but remember to consider obstacles like radiators. Always use a metal tape measure, as cloth tapes can stretch and give inaccurate results.
Inside Recess Measurement
If you want your blind to fit inside the window recess, measure the full width and height of the recess (essentially the window opening). We will make the necessary deductions to ensure your blind fits perfectly. Measure the width and height in three different places and use the smallest figure for accuracy. Do not make any adjustments yourself, as we will handle these to guarantee the correct fit. Again, a metal tape measure is recommended.
Before you start, ensure you have the parts that come with your vertical blind. You will also need:

Face Fixing Instructions
Place the brackets roughly 5cm from each end where the headrail will sit. If you have more than two brackets, space the extra ones evenly along the length of the blind. Make sure the fixings are suitable for the wall or surface you are using. Hook the back of the headrail into the brackets and rotate it into position. Secure the headrail by tightening the small screw at the front of each bracket.
Top Fixing Instructions
Measure and mark the positions to allow clearance for window handles or other obstacles in the recess. Position the brackets about 10cm from each end, with extra brackets spaced evenly if more than two are supplied. Ensure the fixings are appropriate for your wall or surface. Tilt the headrail and hook it into the bracket, then rotate it into place until it clicks. To remove the headrail, press the bracket at the designated point.
