The Mersin Ocean colour introduces brightness to any space while keeping a calm and elegant look. It works wonderfully in light and open interiors and pairs well with white tones, natural wood, or soft neutral shades. Whether you are decorating a coastal-style living room, a peaceful bedroom, or a fresh-looking kitchen, this Roman blind adds charm and character with ease.

Crafted from high-quality material, the Mersin Ocean Roman Blind combines beauty with reliable use. The Roman fold style creates neat pleats when pulled up and falls into a smooth drape when lowered, giving your windows a smart finish. Tools Required for Measuring Vertical Blinds

  • Steel tape measure
  • Pencil for marking and writing down sizes
  • Worksheet to record measurements
  • Ladder (if required) for tall windows

Tips for Accurate Measurements

  • Do not confuse the width and height measurements, as switching them will result in blinds that do not fit.
  • If you are measuring more than one window, do not assume all sizes are the same. Take individual measurements for each window, as even small differences can affect the fit.

Measuring Outside Recess

  • Measure the exact area you would like the blind to cover.
  • To reduce light gaps, the blind should overlap the window recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm on each side.
  • The overlap at the bottom is up to personal preference, but check for obstructions such as radiators.
  • Always use a metal tape measure since cloth tapes can bend or stretch and lead to incorrect results.

Measuring Inside Recess

  • If you want the blind to sit inside the recess, measure the complete width and height of the recess space.
  • Measure in three places across the width and height, and use the smallest measurement.
  • Do not make any deductions; this will be adjusted during production for a precise fit.
  • Again, use a metal tape measure for accurate results.

When fitting your vertical blind, please check you have all the necessary parts provided.

Face Fix

  • Place the brackets about 5cm from each end of where the headrail will be fitted. If more than two brackets are provided, install the others evenly across the blind’s length.
  • Make sure the fixings are right for the type of wall or surface.
  • Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket and turn it into place. Tighten the front screw to secure it.

Top Fix

  • Mark the points where brackets will go, making space for any obstructions like window handles.
  • Place the brackets about 10cm from the ends of the headrail position. If more than two are provided, fit the extra ones evenly across the length.
  • Ensure the wall or surface can hold the fixings securely.
  • Hook the headrail into the bracket and rotate it into place until it clicks. To remove it, press the bracket release point.
