Day and Night Blinds – Inside Recess

To fit the blind inside a window recess, measure the full width and height of the recessed area, from wall to wall.

• Take three width measurements across the window recess: top, middle, and bottom
• Take three height measurements: left, centre, and right

• Use a steel tape measure for precise measurements, recording in centimetres to the nearest millimetre
• Measure in three places for both width and height, and use the smallest measurement when ordering
• The factory will make any necessary deductions for recess-specified blinds to ensure a perfect fit
• Be cautious around obstructions such as tiles, handles, or rails to ensure accurate positioning

Day and Night Blinds – Outside Recess

For blinds fitted outside the window recess, the blind will be made exactly to the measurements you provide, with no deductions.

Guide for Outside Recess Fitting

• Measure the full width of the area you want the blind to cover. To prevent sunlight glare, we recommend an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm at the top of the window
• Take care when measuring to allow for obstructions such as tiles or rails, ensuring the blind is positioned accurately
• Adding an overlap at the bottom is optional and can be adjusted according to your preference

Once you have taken accurate measurements, you can install the blind using the included fittings and fixtures. Follow the instructions carefully to secure the blind properly. Once fitted, the blind will operate smoothly and give you full control over the natural light entering your room.
