Day and Night Blinds – Inside Recess

To fit your blind inside the window recess, you will need to measure the full width and height of the recessed area from wall to wall.

• Take three width measurements across the recess: top, middle, and bottom
• Take three height measurements: left, centre, and right

• Use a steel tape measure to ensure precise readings, noting centimetres to the nearest millimetre
• Measure in three positions for both width and height, and use the smallest measurement when placing your order
• The factory will adjust for any necessary deductions for recess-specified blinds to ensure a perfect fit
• Be careful around obstacles such as tiles, handles, or rails to make sure the placement is accurate

Day and Night Blinds – Outside Recess

If you are fitting the blind outside the window recess, we will make it to the exact measurements you provide, with no deductions.

Guide for Outside Recess Fitting

• Measure the full width of the area you want the blind to cover. To block sunlight effectively, we recommend an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm at the top of the window
• Take care when measuring to avoid obstacles such as tiles, handles, or rails, ensuring the blind is positioned correctly
• Overlap at the bottom of the window is optional and can be chosen according to your preference

Once you have measured accurately, install the blind using the supplied fittings. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure the blind is secure. After installation, your motorised blind will operate smoothly, allowing you to control the light entering your room with ease.
