If you want to fit the blind inside a window recess, you will need to measure the full width and height of the recessed area, from wall to wall.

Guide for Inside Recess Measuring

• Measure the width of the window recess in three places: at the top, middle, and bottom.
• Measure the height in three places: at the left, centre, and right.
• Use a steel tape measure to get exact measurements in centimetres, down to the nearest millimetre.
• Take the smallest width and height measurements for your order.
• The factory will make any necessary deductions for recess-fitted blinds to ensure a perfect fit.
• Be careful of obstacles such as tiles, window handles, or rails to make sure the position is accurate.

Day and Night Blinds – Outside Window Recess

If you are fitting the blind outside the window recess, it will be made to the exact measurements you provide, without any deductions.

• Measure the area you want the blind to cover. To block sunlight effectively, we suggest an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm at the top of the window.
• Take the exact width of the area for the blind.
• Be aware of obstacles such as tiles or window rails to ensure the blind sits correctly.
• You can choose whether or not to add an overlap at the bottom of the window.

Careful measuring ensures that your blind fits perfectly. Once you have measured correctly, fitting the blind is straightforward. Proper installation allows the blind to operate smoothly and look neat in your room.
