ROLLER ONLY MEASURE

To fit the blind inside the window recess:

Measure the full width and height of the recess (wall to wall).

Inside Recess Measurement:

• Take three width measurements across the top, middle, and bottom of the window.
• Take three height measurements down the left, right, and centre of the window.

Guide for Inside Recess Fitting:

• Use a steel tape measure to get precise measurements in centimetres to the nearest millimetre.
• Measure in three places for both width and height, using the smallest measurement when ordering.
• The factory will make any deductions required for “recess specified blinds” to ensure a perfect fit.
• Be careful of obstacles such as tiles, handles, or rails when measuring to ensure accurate placement.

To fit the blind outside the window recess:

We will make the blind to your exact measurements with no deductions.

Guide for Outside Recess Fitting:

• Measure the area you want the blind to cover. To minimise sunlight, we recommend an overlap of 6cm on each side and 7cm at the top.
• Be cautious of obstacles such as tiles or rails when measuring.
• Bottom overlap is optional, depending on your preference.

Please choose your preferred mounting style:

Top Mount: Mounts to an overhead surface, such as the top of the window recess or the ceiling.

Face Mount: Mounts to the face of the outside window frame.

Fitting Instructions:

• Position the brackets so the blind can move freely, ensuring it does not touch door handles or window frames.
• Loosely position both brackets on the blind and place it in the window to find the best bracket position. This will make it easier to centre the blind.
• Place the control side bracket on the same side as the chain mechanism. Mark the first bracket level and untwisted. Drill holes and fix the bracket to the wall using raw plugs if required.
• Insert one side of the blind into the mounted bracket. Position and mark the second bracket so it is level with the first. Drill and fix in place using raw plugs if needed.

Mounting the Blind

• Insert the pin side of the blind into the pin side bracket. The pin end has a spring mechanism to help with mounting and removing the blind.
• Insert the control mechanism into the control side bracket. Make sure the central lug points downwards and hooks into the cross section of the bracket.

Operating the Blind

• Use the chain on the side to raise and lower the blind.

P-Clip:

• Install the P-clip as far as possible from the control mechanism to prevent the looper chain from becoming slack.
• Ensure the control chain passes through the P-clip and remains tight.
• Position the P-clip at the bottom of the loop so the chains can move freely.
• Screw the tensioning device to the wall along the blind to keep the chain tight. The chain will remain permanently under tension.
