Recess Fitting

To fit your blinds inside a window recess, you must measure the full width and height of the recess. Please note that you should allow space for our fitters to install the blinds properly.

Instructions:

• Do not make any deductions yourself
• Use a metal tape measure for accuracy
• Measure the width and drop in three places and use the smallest measurement you take
• Measure each window individually, even if they appear to be the same size

Exact Fitting:

• Measure the recess before adding any extra height or width
• The blind will be made to the exact size with no deductions
• If you want to block as much light as possible, we recommend adding at least 50 mm on either side and 70 mm to the top

Non-Standard Windows:

• Windows with tiles along the sides, common in bathrooms and kitchens, usually reduce the available width compared to a standard recess
• You must measure between the tiles to ensure the blind will fit correctly

What You Will Need:

• Brackets for installation
• Headrail for the blind
• Fascia for attaching
• Child safety cleat

Operating the Blind:

• Once fitted, you can tilt and raise the blind using the cord control
