Recess Fitting

To fit the blind inside your window recess, you need to measure the full width and height of the recess. Please allow for deductions that our fitters may need.

Instructions:

  • Do not make any deductions yourself.
  • Use a metal tape measure for accuracy.
  • Measure the width and drop in three places and use the smallest measurement.
  • Measure each window individually, even if they appear the same size.

Exact Fitting

Measure the recess first before adding any extra width or height. The blind will be made to the exact size with no factory deductions.

If you want to minimise the amount of light entering the room, we recommend adding at least 50 mm to each side and 70 mm to the top.

Non-Standard Windows

For windows with tiles on either side, often found in kitchens and bathrooms, the available width may be smaller than a standard recess. Measure between the tiles carefully to ensure the blind will fit correctly.

What You Will Need:

  • Fitting brackets
  • Headrail for the blind
  • Fascia or cover
  • Child safety cleat

To Operate the Blind:

  • Use the control cord to tilt or raise and lower the blind as needed.
