When measuring for slats only, the size given refers to the length of the fabric when it is laid flat. The width of a standard slat is usually 89mm, which is the most common size and the one offered in most of our fabric choices.
When placing your order, make sure that the fabric you choose is the correct width. Measure to the nearest centimetre, then reduce both the height and width by 1cm. Please do not make any further deductions.

Counting and Working Out the Number of Slats Required
Before fitting your blind, check that you have the following items supplied:
Extra Equipment Needed for Fitting
Face Fix Installation
Fit the brackets around 5cm from each end of the headrail. If more than two brackets are supplied, position the extras at equal distances along the length of the blind. Always check that the fixings are suitable for the type of wall or surface where they are being mounted. Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and tighten the small screw at the front of the bracket to secure it.
Top Fix Installation
Mark the space carefully to allow for any obstacles, such as window handles, that may extend into the recess. Brackets should be positioned about 10cm from each end of the headrail to ensure clearance of the window handle. If more than two brackets are supplied, fit the additional ones evenly along the blind. Check that your fixings are suitable for the surface where you are attaching them.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate it until it clicks into place. To release the headrail, press the release point on the bracket.
