Slat Only Measurement
This refers to the length of the vertical blind fabric when it is laid flat. The width of each slat is usually 89mm, which is the most common size and the size offered for the majority of our fabrics.
When ordering, double-check that the fabric you choose is the correct width. Measurements should be taken to the nearest centimetre. Please note that you should not make any deductions yourself, as this will affect the accuracy.
Before you begin fitting your blind, make sure you have all of the following items included with your order:
Extra Tools and Equipment You Will Need:
Position the brackets about 5cm from the ends of where the headrail will sit. If you have more than two brackets, space the additional ones evenly across the length of the blind. Always check that the fixings you use are suitable for the type of wall or surface you are attaching them to.
Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and then secure it by tightening the small screw at the front of the bracket.
Measure carefully and allow for any obstacles, such as window handles, that extend into the recess. Fix the brackets approximately 10cm from each end of where the headrail will be positioned, ensuring the handle has enough clearance. If you have more than two brackets, space the extras evenly across the blind. Again, check that the fixings are suitable for the surface.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate it until it clicks securely into place. To remove the headrail, press the release point on the bracket.
