Tips for Accurate Measurement:
Measure the exact area you want the blind to cover. To reduce light entering around the edges, the blind should overlap the top of the recess by at least 70mm and extend 50mm on each side.
The bottom overlap is optional but remember to account for obstacles like radiators.
Always use a metal tape measure, as cloth tapes can stretch and give incorrect readings.
If you want your blind to fit inside the window recess, measure the full width and height of the recess. We will make any necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.
Measure in three places for both width and drop, and use the smallest measurement.
Do not make deductions yourself; we will handle that to guarantee accuracy.
Use a metal tape measure, as cloth tapes can stretch and produce inaccurate results.
Ensure You Have the Supplied Items:
Position the brackets around 5cm from the ends of the headrail. If more than two brackets are supplied, space the remaining brackets evenly along the length. Ensure the fixings are suitable for your wall or surface.
Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into position, and secure it by tightening the short screw at the front of the bracket.
Measure carefully and mark the area, allowing space for obstacles such as window handles. Place the brackets approximately 10cm from the ends of the headrail. If additional brackets are supplied, space them evenly along the length. Ensure the fixings are suitable for your wall or surface type.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, then rotate until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release point on the bracket.
