Motorised blinds are our most advanced option, designed to bring a modern electric touch to your windows. Both roller blinds and day and night blinds can be fitted with a motorised system, allowing you to open or close them with just one press of a button on the remote control. We offer a wide range of styles with an excellent choice of colours to suit your home.
Motorised blinds are easy to install, operate, and maintain, and they are powered by high-quality Somfy motors. They have no wires attached; instead, the blinds are controlled using a rechargeable remote. You can also control them through an app or connect them with a smart home system if you prefer.
Note: Motorised blinds may not be the best option for kitchens or bathrooms.
Important: The colour of your blind may look different on various screens or devices, depending on display settings.

Roller Only Measure
For blinds fitted inside the window recess, measure the complete width and height of the recessed space, from wall to wall.
Inside Recess Measurement
Take three width measurements across the recess: at the top, middle, and bottom. Then take three height measurements: on the left, centre, and right sides.
Guide for Inside Recess Fitting
Use a steel tape measure to get exact measurements in centimetres, down to the nearest millimetre. Always measure in three places for both width and height, and use the smallest figures for ordering. If any deductions are required for blinds ordered as “recess fit,” the factory will apply them to make sure the blind fits properly. Be careful to account for any obstructions, such as tiles, handles, or rails, so the measurements are precise.
Outside Recess Measurement
If you would like the blind fitted outside the window recess, it will be made exactly to the measurements you give, with no deductions.
Guide for Outside Recess Fitting
Measure the full area you want the blind to cover. To block out more sunlight, we recommend an overlap of at least 6 cm on each side and 7 cm above the window. The overlap at the bottom is optional, depending on your preference. As with recess fitting, take care when measuring to avoid mistakes caused by obstructions like tiles or rails.
Please select which type of mounting you would like:
Top Mount – fixing brackets to an overhead surface, such as the ceiling or the top of the window recess.
Face Mount – fixing brackets to the face or front of the window frame.
When fitting, make sure the brackets are placed so that the blind operates freely, without touching handles or window frames. Lightly attach the brackets to the blind first, then position it in the window. This will help you judge where the brackets should go and make it easier to centre the blind.
Attach the control-side bracket to the same side as the chain or motor control. Mark its position carefully, ensuring it is straight and level, as this will affect smooth operation. Drill the holes and fix the bracket firmly, using raw plugs if fixing to a wall.
Next, insert one end of the blind into the fitted bracket. Place the second bracket on the opposite side, mark its position, and make sure it is aligned with the first. Drill and fix it into place securely.
Insert the pin side of the blind into the pin bracket. This side of the blind has a spring system that makes it easy to mount or remove. Then insert the control mechanism into the control-side bracket. Ensure the central lug is facing downwards and clips neatly into the bracket.
Once installed, the blind can be raised or lowered using the side chain or remote control, depending on the chosen option.
The P-clip must be installed as far as possible from the control mechanism to stop the looped chain from hanging loose.
Make sure the chain runs securely inside the P-clip, is kept tight, and that the clip is fixed at the bottom of the loop. Screw the safety device to the wall, keeping the chain fully stretched. This ensures the chain stays secure and under constant tension at all times.
