Easy Operation and Installation

Motorised blinds are straightforward to set up, install, and operate. They are powered by high-quality Somfy motors. No cables are needed; a rechargeable remote controls the blinds. Additionally, they can be operated using an app or integrated into a smart home system.

Note: Motorised blinds may not be suitable for kitchens or bathrooms.

Important: The colour of the blind may look different depending on your screen or device settings.

Roller Blinds Measurement

Inside Window Recess: Measure the full width and height of the recess (from wall to wall).

Inside Recess Measurement Guide:

  • Take three width measurements: top, middle, and bottom of the window.
  • Take three height measurements: left, centre, and right.
  • Use a steel tape measure for accurate centimetre measurements down to the nearest millimetre.
  • Use the smallest measurement when ordering.
  • The factory will make any necessary adjustments for recess-specified blinds to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Be careful of obstructions such as tiles, handles, and rails to ensure accuracy.

Outside Window Recess: The blind will be made to your exact measurements with no deductions.

Outside Recess Measurement Guide:

  • Measure the area you want the blind to cover. To block sunlight, we recommend an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm at the top.
  • Measure carefully, accounting for obstacles such as tiles or rails.
  • Overlap at the bottom of the window is optional.

Please choose between:

Top Mount – Fixed to the top of the window recess or the ceiling.

Face Mount – Fixed to the face of the window frame.

  • Position the brackets so the blind operates freely without hitting door handles or window frames.
  • Loosely place both brackets on the blind and hold it in position to help centre it accurately.

Installing Brackets:

  • Place the control-side bracket on the same side as the control mechanism. Ensure it is level. Drill holes and secure with raw plugs if attaching to a wall.
  • Insert one end of the blind into the mounted bracket.
  • Position and mark the second bracket so it is level, then drill and fix it into place.

Mounting the Blind:

  • Insert the pin side of the blind into the pin-side bracket. The pin end has a spring to make installation and removal easy.
  • Insert the control mechanism into the control-side bracket, ensuring the central lug points down and hooks into the bracket.

Operating the Blind

  • Use the side chain to raise or lower the blind.

P-Clip Installation:

  • Install the p-clip as far as possible from the control mechanism to prevent slack in the looped chain.
  • Ensure the control chain sits inside the p-clip, keeping it tight.
  • Fix the tensioning device to the wall so the chain stays under constant tension. This will keep the chain tight and working correctly.
