Measure the exact area you want the blind to cover. To cut down on light escaping, allow at least 70mm overlap at the top and 50mm on each side.
The overlap at the bottom is up to you, but remember to allow for obstacles such as radiators.
Always measure with a metal tape for accuracy.
This is the size to use if you want your blind to fit neatly inside the window opening. Take the full width and height of the recess. Our team will make the necessary deductions so the blind fits perfectly.
Measure across three points for both the width and drop, and always take the smallest figure.
Do not adjust the measurements yourself; we will do this for you.
Again, always use a steel tape measure.
Before fitting, make sure you have the following supplied with your order:
Mark bracket positions about 5cm from each end of the rail location. If more than two brackets are provided, place the extras evenly across the length. Make sure the fixings suit the wall or surface you are drilling into.
Hook the back of the head rail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and tighten the front screw to secure it.
Mark the positions about 10cm from each end to allow clearance for window handles. For more than two brackets, space them evenly along the rail length. Ensure the fixings are suitable for your surface.
Tilt and hook the head rail into the bracket, then rotate it until it locks. To remove, press the release point on the bracket.
