All replacement vanes are 89mm wide and are supplied with a top hanger already fixed in place. The hanger has a single slot, making it simple to attach the vane to your current headrail.

Measure the full area you want the blind to cover. To reduce light gaps, the blind should overlap the recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm on both sides. The bottom overlap is up to you, but remember to check for things like radiators. Always use a steel tape measure, as cloth ones can stretch and give wrong results.
If you want the blind to sit within the recess, measure the total width and height of the opening. We will make the adjustments needed for a correct fit. Take three measurements each for the width and drop, and use the smallest figures. Do not make your own deductions, as we will handle that. Again, always use a steel tape for accuracy.
When fitting, make sure you have all the supplied parts that come with your blind.
Mark out the bracket positions about 5cm from each end of the headrail. If you have more than two brackets, space them evenly along the rail. Make sure the fixings match the surface or wall type. Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it forward, and lock it by tightening the front screw.
Measure carefully, allowing space for things like handles inside the recess. Place the brackets about 10cm from each end of the headrail position to avoid clashing with window handles. If extra brackets are provided, fit them at equal gaps across the rail. Always check that the fixings are correct for the surface you are working with. Tilt the headrail into the bracket, rotate it until it clicks into place, and to release it later, press the bracket at the marked point.
