When measuring for slat replacement only, the size will cover the fabric length of the vertical blind when laid flat. The common slat width is 89mm, which is also the standard size for most available fabrics.
When placing your order, make sure the fabric you choose has the correct width. Always measure to the nearest centimetre. Do not make any deductions to the width or drop measurements.
If slats are not available, follow these steps:

Make sure you have the following parts supplied with your vertical blind:
Position the brackets around 5cm from both ends of where the headrail will be fitted. If more than two brackets are included, spread the extra ones evenly across the length of the blind. Always make sure the fixings are suitable for the surface you are attaching them to.
To fit, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate the headrail into place, and secure it by tightening the small screw at the front of the bracket.
First, check and mark the distance needed to avoid obstacles like window handles that project into the recess. Place the brackets around 10cm from each end of the headrail position to make sure the handle can clear. If more than two brackets are provided, fix the rest evenly across the blind’s length. Ensure all fittings are suitable for the mounting surface.
To install, tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket. Rotate it until it clicks into position. To remove the headrail, press the bracket release point.
