Recess Fitting

To fit your blinds inside the window recess, measure the full width and height of the recess. Note: leave deductions for fitters where needed.

Instructions:

  • Do not make any deductions yourself.
  • Use a metal tape measure.
  • Measure width and drop in three different places and use the smallest measurement for both.
  • Measure all windows individually, even if they appear to be the same size.

Exact Fitting

Measure the recess before adding any extra height or width. The blind will be made to the exact size, with no deductions.

  • If you want to minimise light, we recommend adding at least 50mm to each side and 70mm to the top.

Non-Standard Windows

Windows with tiles on the sides, usually in bathrooms and kitchens, may reduce the available width compared to a standard recess. You will need to measure the space between the tiles to ensure your blind will fit correctly.

What You Will Need:

  • Brackets and fittings
  • The blind headrail
  • Fascia for attachment
  • Child safety cleat

To Operate the Blind:

Follow the instructions provided to use the cord safely and correctly for opening, closing, and tilting the blind.
