Vertical blackout blinds will give you the privacy you want in your home. They come in different designs and styles, made with premium blackout fabrics that are strong, durable, and versatile, so they will last for many years. Every blind is carefully designed.
These vertical blackout blinds work well on both large and small windows, and they can be ordered at any time. They are also a cost-effective choice. A colour chart is available, showing a wide range of top-quality shades. You can select either light-filtering or full blackout fabrics depending on your needs, making them a great value option for homes of every size.
The item is delivered in two parts β one package for the slats and another for the rail and brackets. Delivery is handled through our own courier service, which may send the parts separately.
Your blind comes with top-fix brackets as standard. If required, you can request face-fix brackets, which work well inside window frames or outside the window recess.

Measure the full area you would like the blind to cover. To reduce light leakage, allow the blind to overlap the window recess by at least 70mm at the top and 50mm on each side. The overlap at the bottom is up to you, but do consider items such as radiators.
Measure the exact width and height of the recess area. This is the βholeβ where the blind will fit. Take three measurements across both width and drop, then record the smallest figure. Do not make any adjustments yourself β we will make the necessary deductions to ensure the blind fits properly. Again, use a metal tape measure to avoid errors.
When fitting your vertical blind, make sure you have the following items included with your order:
Position the brackets around 5cm from each end of the headrail location. If more than two brackets are included, space the extra ones evenly along the blind. Ensure the fixings used are suitable for the type of wall or surface. Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and tighten the front screw to secure it.
Mark out the distance needed to avoid any obstructions such as window handles. Place the brackets roughly 10cm from each end of the headrail position so the handle is cleared. If more than two brackets are included, space the rest evenly. Make sure the fixings are appropriate for your wall or surface. Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, rotate until it clicks into place, and to release it, press the bracket as shown.
