TIPS FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS:
Measure the area you want the blind to cover. To reduce light leakage, the blind should extend at least 70mm above the window recess and 50mm on each side.
The bottom overlap is up to you, but consider any obstacles such as radiators.
Always use a metal tape measure. Cloth tapes may stretch and give incorrect measurements.
If you want the blind to fit inside the window recess, measure the full width and height of the opening. Adjustments will be made to ensure the blind fits perfectly.
Measure in three places for both width and height, and use the smallest measurement.
Do not make deductions yourself; these will be made to guarantee a perfect fit.
Use a metal tape measure to ensure accurate results.
Check that all parts are supplied before starting.
EXTRA TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Place the brackets about 5cm from the ends of the headrail. If more than two brackets are included, space any additional brackets evenly along the blind. Make sure the wall or surface is suitable for the fixings.
Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and tighten the short screw at the front to secure it.
Mark the positions for the brackets, leaving space for window handles or other obstacles. Position the brackets roughly 10cm from each end of the headrail. Space any extra brackets evenly along the length and ensure the fixings are suitable for the wall or surface.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the brackets, then rotate it until it clicks into position. To release the blind later, press the release point on the bracket.
