If you are measuring for slats only, this refers to the length of the vertical blind fabric when laid out flat. The most common size for slats is 89mm in width, and this is the size offered for most fabric options.
When placing an order, double-check that your chosen fabric is the correct width. Always measure to the nearest centimetre and then reduce both the height and width by 1cm. Please note, do not make any further deductions.

Before starting installation, make sure you have all the equipment supplied with your vertical blind.
Additional Equipment Required for Installation
Face Fix Installation
Position the brackets about 5cm from each end of where the headrail will sit. If more than two brackets are provided, space the extra ones evenly along the full width of the blind. Always check that the fixings are suitable for the wall or surface you are attaching them to. To install, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into position, and secure it by tightening the small screw at the front of the bracket.
Top Fix Installation
Measure carefully and mark the position, making sure there is enough clearance for any obstructions such as handles inside the recess. Place the brackets about 10cm from each end of the headrail to allow space for window handles. If more than two brackets are provided, space the extras evenly across the blind. Ensure the fixings used are suitable for the surface. Tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket, rotate it until it clicks securely into place, and to remove it, press the release point on the bracket.
