Day and Night Blinds – Inside Recess Measurement

To fit the blind inside the window recess, you need to measure the full width and height of the recessed area, from wall to wall.

Guide for inside recess measurements:

• Measure the width at three points: top, middle, and bottom of the window recess.
• Measure the height at three points: left, centre, and right of the window recess.
• Use a steel tape measure and record measurements in centimetres to the nearest millimetre.
• Use the smallest measurement from your readings when placing your order.
• The factory will make any deductions necessary for recess blinds to ensure they fit perfectly.
• Be careful when measuring around obstacles such as tiles, handles, or rails, as these can affect accuracy.

Day and Night Blinds – Outside Recess Measurement

If you want the blind to be fitted outside the window recess, it will be made exactly to the measurements you provide, with no deductions.

Guide for outside recess measurements:

• Measure the exact width of the area you want the blind to cover. To reduce sunlight, we recommend an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm at the top of the window.
• Take care when measuring near obstacles such as tiles or rails to ensure accurate positioning.
• You may choose whether or not to add an overlap at the bottom of the window.
