TIPS FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS:
Measure the area where you want the blind to overlap. To reduce light leakage, the blind should extend at least 70mm above the recess and 50mm on each side.
The bottom overlap is up to you, but consider obstacles such as radiators.
Always use a metal tape measure, as fabric or cloth tapes may stretch and give inaccurate measurements.
For a blind that fits inside the window recess, measure the full width and height of the opening. Adjustments will be made to ensure the blind fits correctly.
Measure in three different places for both width and height, using the smallest measurement.
Do not make your own deductions; these will be done to guarantee the correct fit.
Use a metal tape measure to ensure accurate results.
Check that all supplied parts are included before you start.
EXTRA TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
Position the brackets about 5cm in from each end of the headrail. If more than two brackets are supplied, space the rest evenly along the blind. Ensure the wall or surface can support the fixings.
Hook the back of the headrail into the bracket, rotate it into place, and tighten the short screw at the front to secure it.
Mark the fixing points, leaving space for window handles or other obstacles. Position the brackets roughly 10cm from each end of the headrail. Space any extra brackets evenly along the length of the blind and check that fixings are suitable for the wall or surface.
Tilt and hook the headrail into the brackets, rotate until it clicks into position. To release it later, press the release point on the bracket.
