Day and Night Blinds – Inside Window Recess

To fit a blind inside the window recess, you must measure the full width and height of the recessed area, from wall to wall.

Guide for Inside Recess Measuring

• Take three width measurements across the window recess: at the top, middle, and bottom.
• Take three height measurements: at the left, centre, and right.
• Use a steel tape measure to ensure measurements are accurate in centimetres, to the nearest millimetre.
• Measure in three places for both width and height and use the smallest measurement when placing your order.
• The factory will make any necessary deductions for recess-specified blinds to ensure a perfect fit.
• Be careful of obstacles such as tiles, handles, or rails to make sure the blind fits correctly.

Day and Night Blinds – Outside Window Recess

If you want the blind to fit outside the window recess, it will be made to the exact measurements you provide with no deductions.

• Measure the area you want the blind to cover. To block sunlight effectively, we recommend an overlap of 6 cm on each side and 7 cm above the window.
• Take the exact width of the area to be covered.
• Be cautious of obstacles such as tiles or rails to ensure correct placement.
• You can choose whether to allow an overlap at the bottom of the window.
