When measuring only the slat, include the full length of the fabric while it lies flat. The usual width of a slat is 89mm, which is the most common size and the one we use for the majority of our fabrics.
Before ordering, confirm that your chosen fabric matches the correct width. Measure to the nearest centimetre, then reduce by 1cm for both the height and width. Do not reduce anything yourself when placing the order.

Extra Tools and Equipment You Will Need During Fitting:
To begin, place the brackets about 5cm from each end where the headrail will be fitted. If more than two brackets are supplied, install the extra brackets evenly along the length of the blind. Always ensure that the fixings used are suitable for the wall or surface where the brackets will be attached.
For face fixing, hook the back of the headrail into the bracket and then rotate the headrail into position. Secure the headrail by tightening the short screw located at the front of the bracket.
First, measure and mark the area, allowing space for any obstacles such as handles that may extend into the recess. Place the brackets roughly 10cm from the ends where the headrail will sit, ensuring there is clearance for window handles. If more than two brackets are included, fit the extra ones evenly across the blindβs length. Always check that the fixings you use are suitable for the surface.
To install, tilt and hook the headrail into the bracket at the correct point. Rotate it until it clicks securely into place. If you need to remove the headrail, press the bracket at the release point.
